CONTEST Description

The Meredith Communications /95.7 Ball Gazers begins on Monday December 5th, 2011 and ends on Tuesday December 21st, 2011.

1. To enter listeners are encouraged to look through Northern most windows at 413 Chestnut Street in downtown Atlantic, IA 50022 and guess how many Christmas Ball Ornaments are on the Christmas Tree on display in the window.
2. ) No person is allowed to enter the window display to count ornaments. Attempting to do so disqualifies person from contest. Pictures will be posted online at www.KS957online.com
3. Guesses must be emailed to contest@ks957online.com by midnight (12:00am) on December 20th. Correct answer will be announced live on KSWI at 7:30am on December 21st. The first person with a correct answer will win $500 from Meredith Communications in the form of a check. If no guess is is correct the money will be awarded to the person closest to the actual number of balls. IF there is more than one correct guess OR there is more than one close guess that are the same number of balls away from the actual number, there will be a drawing that will held on December 22nd.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
1. Contest is open to all Iowa residents inside the KSWI-FM listening area unless otherwise specified by station management.
2. Contest winners must have a social security number to participate in the contest.
3. Employees of Meredith Communications, its subsidiaries, affiliates, general sponsors, advertisers, employees of other Southwest Iowa electronic and print media, family members, and members of their immediate households are ineligible to participate or win.
4. No purchase is necessary to participate.
5. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
6. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
7. By participating in this contest, entrants agree to these official rules and accept decisions by Meredith Communications as final.
LEGAL CONDITIONS
8. Payment of all applicable taxes is the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS form or the equivalent based upon the retail value of the prize.
9. By participating in the contests, listeners and the contest winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, and must sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize. By entering the contest, you agree to comply with Official Rules and with the decisions of the sponsors, which shall be final and binding in all aspects relating to the contest.
10. Contest winner will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $500.00 or greater. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners agree to hold the Meredith Communications, and their subsidiaries, affiliates, general sponsors, promotional partners, owners, officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives harmless against any and all claims or liability, directly or indirectly related to or arising from the contest winner’s participation in this contest.
11. Failure of a contestant to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant disqualification.
12. Prize must be picked up at Meredith Communications, 413 Chestnut Street, Atlantic Iowa 50022. Winner will be required to provide positive identification and a social security number.

13. All decisions by Meredith Communications management regarding any aspect of the contest are final.

14. Meredith Communications assumes no responsibility for any problems with telephone service, internet, fax or email.

15. Participants in this contest will have their voice recorded and the phone call will be used for broadcast.
